✦SignalCheck

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 17 September 2026

What we store

When you sign in with Google we receive your email address and a stable account id. We store:

  • the signals you submit and the analyses we return, so you can revisit them in History;
  • your follow-up questions and our answers, so a conversation can continue across sessions;
  • your onboarding answers (experience, markets, challenge, goal);
  • your subscription state as reported by our payment provider.

What we send to third parties

Producing an analysis requires sending data out. We send the signal text to our AI provider to normalise it, and a chart screenshot to a vision model to read it. Follow-up questions, together with the saved analysis, are sent to the same AI provider so it can answer.

We send your email and subscription identifiers to our payment provider (Whop) to operate billing, and market data requests to Bybit using a symbol only — never your account.

If you accept cookies, we also send product analytics to PostHog and advertising measurement to Meta and TikTok — see below.

Cookies and your choice

We ask once, in a notice, before any non-essential cookie or script runs. If you reject, neither product analytics nor advertising measurement is started: no identifier, no cookie, and nothing sent to either party. Every feature of the product still works, and the choice is remembered for a year. Clearing this site’s cookies brings the notice back if you want to change your mind.

Product analytics goes to PostHog, and only after you accept: which screen was viewed, the analysis mode, the score and verdict, an error category, and the campaign that brought you in. It is where we work out what is broken or unused.

Advertising measurement goes to Meta and TikTok, and only after you accept: the event (a page view, a completed sign-up, a started checkout or a purchase), a hashed form of your email address, and the plan’s price on a purchase. Hashing is one-way — it cannot be turned back into your address, and they never receive the address itself. It is how we tell which ads are worth paying for.

One thing happens whichever way you choose: we record account and billing events on our own servers, such as a subscription starting or an analysis limit being reached. Those are part of operating the service, are not set by cookies, and do not involve any third party.

What we never send to analytics

Product analytics and advertising measurement receive event names and safe metadata only: which screen was viewed, the analysis mode, the score and verdict, an error category, the plan, and the marketing campaign that brought you in. Neither receives:

  • your signal text, follow-up questions or our answers;
  • chart screenshots or any image data;
  • your email address in readable form — advertising measurement receives only a one-way hash;
  • card numbers or any payment detail — advertising measurement receives the plan’s list price, not the amount charged.

Automatic click capture and session recording are disabled, so form contents and screen imagery are not recorded.

Cookies

Needed for the product. These are set whether or not you accept, because without them the app cannot work.

  • sb-* — the Supabase session that keeps you signed in.
  • signalcheck_free_used — remembers that an anonymous check has already been used.
  • sc_consent — remembers your choice, so we do not ask on every visit.

Set only if you accept. Rejecting means none of these are created, and no request is made to any of these companies.

  • sc_attr — remembers which campaign or referrer first brought you here. Stored for 90 days.
  • ph_* — PostHog’s identifier for the product analytics described above.
  • _fbp, _fbc and _ttp — set by Meta and TikTok, so they can tie a visit and a purchase back to the ad that produced it.

Blocking cookies in your browser does not stop the product working, but it does reduce what we can measure.

Retention

We keep your account, analyses and follow-ups for as long as your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we remove them; encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.

Your choices

You can ask us for a copy of your data or ask us to delete your account and its analyses at any time by emailing support@signalcheck.ai. Blocking cookies in your browser does not stop the product working, but it does reduce what we can measure.

Changes

If this policy changes materially we will update the effective date above and tell you in the app.
